Walking away from it didn't make sense on paper. So I did what a lot of capable women do. I tried to reason it out. I made mental lists. I wondered if I was being dramatic, selfish, or just tired. Then I was laid off, and the question stopped being hypothetical. Fear had a loud voice. You're not qualified. You've never done this. What if it doesn't work? But under the fear was something steadier, and it kept pointing to the same place. My daughter. Home. I can only tell you what helped me. I took it to Him. I started reading His Word, not to find a sign, but because I needed Him more than I needed an answer. I asked for discernment. The pull didn't fade when I ignored it. It kept coming back to the same thing, being home with my daughter. And God started putting believers in my path. Faith-filled mentors. Then a desire for a church. Now I have fellowship. I wasn't trying to make a decision alone anymore, and that mattered. When I found an affiliate marketing business with training, tools, and a community already in place, I didn't see it as a magic answer. I said yes, but I didn't say yes with God at the center. I was so focused on the results I needed to produce that I put all of them on my own shoulders. It took time to see that being called is not the same as being in control. I'm home with my daughter while I build. And something I didn't expect happened along the way. This business became a place where my spiritual growth happened. It's led me to His Word, a church, baptism, and fellowship with other believers. As a Christian entrepreneur, I'm learning that this is as much about who I'm becoming as what I'm producing.
